oh nice! Planning to flip it or hold on to it?

I have a 73 Schwinn Breeze that I was planning to restore this summer before my other bike ate all my funds... bought for $80 off the original owner, who’d had it since she was 19

I have this exact bike in baby blue! I’ve ridden it a lot with my dad over the years but right now it’s in my garage and needs new tires and maybe a chain.

Hold onto it at least long enough to have some fun with it. It IS a pain in the ass to store, but the wife hasn’t complained yet. As far as I know I’m the third owner. Paid 60 bucks for it, so I guess that was pretty lucky.

I picked up a couple of girls frame Schwinn Collegiates over the summer, one for my daughter and one just because I knew it would clean up nice. They’re very similar to the Breeze except they’re both 5-speeds. And I got a boys’ Speedster in rough shape and pretty much converted it to another 5-speed Collegiate.

Having mucho fun with this stuff, especially since it kinda gets me my fix of wrenching since I can’t afford the 4-wheeled projects I want to do...
